This visualization ranks countries by gas prices, how much of a day's wage is needed to buy a gallon of gas, and how much income is spent on gas. Each country also has an editorial description of the political context and why gas prices might be so high (or low). Users can choose to see the data in gallons or liters, and switch been 50 different currencies.
